Drug Formulation

2 liang of Mangcao (lightly roasted), 2 liang of Ephedra (roots and nodes removed), 2 liang of Gastrodia,1 liang of Smilax glabra (chopped), 1 liang of Saposhnikovia divaricata (root tips removed), 1 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 1 liang of Notopterygium incisum, 1 liang of Biota orientalis seeds, 1 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1 liang of Asarum sieboldii, 1 liang of pine resin (refined), 1 liang of Achyranthes bidentata (stems removed), 1 liang of Cornus officinalis, 1 liang of Alisma orientale, 1 liang of Paeonia rubra,1 liang of Zhi Ke (lightly fried with wheat bran until pale yellow, seeds removed), 1 liang of Fu Zi (roasted until cracked, skin and navel removed), 1 liang of Bai Fu Zi (roasted until cracked), 1 liang of Tian Nan Xing (roasted until cracked), 1 liang of dried scorpion (lightly fried), 1 liang of black snake meat (soaked in wine, roasted until pale yellow), 1 liang of Dang Gui,1 liang of Shilongrui, 1 liang of rhino horn shavings, 1 liang of Eucommia bark (wrinkled outer bark removed, lightly roasted until pale yellow), 3 fen of white silkworm pupae (lightly roasted), half a liang of Pinellia (washed 7 times in boiling water to remove slipperiness), 3 fen of lead frost (finely ground), half a liang of ox bile (finely ground), and half a liang of musk (finely ground).
