1 large apricot kernel (select a whole one, soak in hot water, remove the skin, tip, and double kernel).

Processing

Pound until pulpy; add 2 shuo of fine wine, grind and strain to obtain 1 shuo 5 dou of liquid; add 1 dou 5 sheng of honey; place in a 2-shuo jar, stir until well blended,seal tightly with clay to prevent air from escaping. Check after 30 days; skim the butter that has risen to the surface of the wine and transfer it to a porcelain container for storage. Take the wine sediment, shape it into balls the size of a pear, place them in an empty room on a wooden rack, and wait until they take on the consistency of molasses.

Take one piece daily, washed down with the original wine; the wine may also be consumed at will.
