Drug Formulation

1 liang of Chuanxiong, 1 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1 liang of Coix seed, 1 liang of Cinnamomum cassia bark, 1 liang of Aconite root (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed), 1 liang of antelope horn shavings, 1 liang of Peucedanum praeruptorum (with root tip removed), 1 liang of red Poria,1 liang of Ephedra (with roots and nodes removed), 1 liang of Chinese Stephania, 1 liang of Notopterygium, 1 liang of Red Peony Root, 1 liang of Ginseng (with root tip removed), 1 liang of Salvia miltiorrhiza, and half a liang of Licorice (lightly roasted until reddish, then coarsely chopped).

Finely chop the ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Instructions for Use

Take half a liang per dose; decoct in 1 large zhan of water until reduced to 5 fen; strain out the residue; and take warm before meals.
