Drug Formulation

Bitumen (finely ground to 50 mesh), beeswax 20 qian, beef tallow 10 qian, sesame oil 50 qian (equivalent to 1 he, 2 spoons, and 5 pinches).

Processing

First, simmer the sesame oil for a short while; then add the beeswax and beef tallow and allow them to melt. Next, stir in the ground asphalt, remove from heat, filter thoroughly through fine, used silk, and transfer to a porcelain container.
