Drug Formulation

50 sheep kidneys, 2 jin of goji berries, 1 jin of psoralea, 6 liang of large fennel, 6 liang of small fennel, 12 liang of cistanche, 8 liang of rock salt, and 1 dou of large black beans (round and clean, thoroughly rinsed).

Processing

Add 2 dou of sweetened water to a sand pot and simmer the first seven ingredients until the liquid is reduced by half. Strain out the herbal residue, add the black beans, and simmer over even heat until completely dry. If any remaining liquid is present, mix it thoroughly into the mixture. Remove the mixture, spread it out on a clean cloth to air-dry, and store in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use

Take one dose daily. If a clay pot is not available, an iron pot may be used instead.
