Drug Formulation

Mu Xiang (unroasted) half liang, Clove half liang, Beijing Sanleng (finely chopped, soaked in wine overnight),Zhike (pulp removed, stir-fried with wheat bran), Qingpi (white pith removed), Chuanlianzi (finely chopped, stir-fried), Aniseed (stir-fried), Pengshu (finely chopped) 1 liang (stir-fried with 30 shelled castor beans until golden yellow; discard the castor beans).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using vinegar paste, and coat with cinnabar ground to a very fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills per dose, washed down with salted decoction of stir-fried ginger; warm wine may also be used; take at any time.
