Drug Formulation

Stiff silkworm (silk removed) 4 qian, Clematis root (root base removed) 4 qian, white alum (raw) 2 qian, Asarum (leaves removed) 1 qian, licorice (raw) 2.5 qian.

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients, roast them, and grind into a powder.

Benefits

For newborn infants, after seven days, showing signs of umbilical wind causing clenched jaws; as well as for stroke, acute and chronic convulsions, locked jaws, and phlegm obstructing the upper respiratory tract.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 character to half a qian per dose, mix with ginger juice and boiling water, and apply it with a finger inside the clenched jaws. To treat stroke, acute or chronic convulsions, and locked jaws that cannot be opened, mix the powder with salted plum soup and rub it onto the roots of the upper and lower teeth.
