Drug Formulation

1 liang Pinellia, 1 liang Areca nut, 1 liang Ginseng, 1 liang Red Poria, 0.5 liang Licorice (roasted), 5 liang Fresh Ginger, 0.5 liang White Atractylodes, 0.5 liang Perilla leaf, 0.5 liang Dried plum pulp.

Processing

Except for the fresh ginger, coarsely grind the other ingredients; finely chop the fresh ginger (with its skin) and mix it with the powdered herbs to form pills the size of a chicken egg yolk.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill at a time; crush it open, add 5 Perilla leaves (with stems) and 1 black plum, along with 1.5 large bowls of water. Decoct together until reduced to 1 bowl, strain, and drink while warm.
