Drug Formulation

Half a jin of sesame oil, 1 liang of frankincense (finely ground), 1 liang of pine knots (chopped), 2 liang of pine resin, 2 liang of beeswax, 1 liang of Bletilla striata (chopped), 1 liang of Sichuan Cimicifuga, and half a liang of white Polygonum.

Processing

Grind the Chinese Cimicifuga and White Saussurea into a fine powder. First, simmer the pine knots and Bletilla in oil until the mixture turns yellowish-red; strain out the residue. Then add the pine resin and yellow wax, and simmer until fully dissolved. Immediately add the frankincense, Chinese Cimicifuga, and other powders, and boil until it forms a paste. Pour into a porcelain container and store.
