Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Tiannanxing (half raw, half roasted), half a liang of Bai Jiangcan, 1 fen of whole scorpion, 1 fen of Bai Fuzi, half a fen of niuhuang, half a fen of musk, half a fen of powdered gypsum, half a fen of cinnabar, and 2–3 jujubes (steamed).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with date paste, and form into pills the size of a millet seed.

Take 5–10 pills per dose, washed down with peppermint tea.

Note

This medicine should not be taken in large doses; taking it more than twice may cause sores and swelling in the child.
