Drug Formulation

Leeches 3 qian, horseflies 2 qian, processed frankincense 2 qian, processed myrrh 2 qian, Coptis 2 qian, bee nests 3 qian, Phellodendron 3 qian, Moutan bark 4 qian, Gentiana 5 qian.

Processing

Grind the above herbs into powder; separate each into pure powder. Mix 30 portions according to the formula, then decoct with 3 liang of honeysuckle to make a decoction. Form into pills using the decoction as a binder, and coat with 3 qian of realgar (avoid drying at high temperatures).
