Processing
Use a total of 30 jin of oil; simmer in batches to extract the elixir. Then add 1 jin of lead powder (roasted), 8 liang of pure colophony, 4 liang of gold-colored toadstone, 4 liang of aged lime (roasted), 4 liang of beeswax, 1 liang of bleached verdigris, 1 liang of dried alum, 1 liang of raw alum,silver vermilion 1 liang, basin-cleaning powder 1 liang, realgum 1 liang, processed frankincense 1 liang, processed myrrh 1 liang, official cassia 1 liang, cloves 1 liang, camphor 1 liang, suhexiang oil 1 liang, white mustard seeds 5 qian, Guangxi frankincense 1 liang, beef glue 4 liang (steamed with wine until dissolved, following the method for Qingyang Ointment), and musk added as needed to form an ointment.
