Drug Formulation

1 liang of ginseng, 1 liang of raw astragalus, 1 liang of angelica root, 3 qian of polygala, 3 qian of raw licorice, 1 liang of honeysuckle, 1 liang of rhubarb, 1 liang of gypsum, 2 qian of bupleurum, 1 liang of white atractylodes, and 2 qian of trichosanthes root.

For the initial onset of Yangmei Gan Sores, when sores are about to form at the corners of the mouth.

Instructions for Use

Decoct in water and take orally. After one dose, foul matter is expelled in a severe diarrhea, the stench unbearable; after two more doses, no foul matter or filth remains in the intestines or stomach.Subsequently, reduce the doses of rhubarb and gypsum, add 2 liang of Smilax glabra, and decoct them together. After taking four more doses, faint shadows of sores will surely appear beneath the skin all over the body, including the head and face. Take two more doses, and these shadows will gradually fade. Take two more doses, and the condition will never recur.
