Drug Formulation

Phellodendron bark (coarse outer bark removed, roasted) half liang, Scutellaria root (black core removed) 1 liang, Fructus Aurantii (pulp removed, fried with wheat bran) half liang, Zelkova bark (roasted) 1 liang and 1 fen, Bamboo leaves half liang, Ginseng half liang, Gypsum (pounded and sifted into powder) 1 liang.

Instructions for Use

For a 1-year-old child, take 1 qian bi per dose; add 7 fen of water to 1 zhan, decoct until reduced to 4 fen, strain out the residue, and divide into 2 warm doses—one taken on an empty stomach and one in the afternoon.
