Drug Formulation

7 dried cicadas (lightly roasted), 1 liang of white fresh bark, 1 fen of hook vine, 1 fen of Asarum (soil removed), 1 fen of Sichuan lovage (chopped, lightly roasted), 1 fen of Gastrodia, 1 fen of ox bile (ground separately), and approximately 5 cun of snake shed (roasted until yellow).

Grind the above ingredients into a powder and mix thoroughly with the ox bile.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian per dose, add 8 fen of water, add a small amount each of ginseng and mint, decoct until reduced by 5 fen, strain, and take while still slightly warm.
