Drug Formulation

5 qian of Angelica sinensis (washed with wine; as in the previous formula), 5 qian of Prepared Rehmannia (stir-fried with Amomum and Agarwood), 5 qian of Raw Rehmannia (stir-fried with ginger and wine), 5 qian of Cistanche (soaked in wine), 5 qian of Gardenia (stir-fried), 3 qian of Scutellaria baicalensis, 2 qian of Phellodendron (stir-fried with salt and wine),Muxiang 1 liang 3 qian, Agarwood 1 liang 3 qian, Areca Nut 4 qian, Tien-Yin-Chi 4 qian, Sea Cow 1, Seahorse 1 pair, Gecko 1 pair (roasted with butter),Goji berries 5 qian (to be taken later), Schisandra berries 5 qian, Cistanche (washed in wine) 5 qian, Angelica root (washed in wine) 5 qian, Raw Rehmannia root (washed in wine) 5 qian, Prepared Rehmannia root (steamed in wine) 5 qian, Achyranthes root (soaked in wine) 1 liang, Poria cocos 1 liang, Agarwood 1 liang, Wood Fragrance 1 liang, Asparagus root (core removed) 5 qian,Ophiopogon (core removed) 5 qian, Licorice 3 qian, Fructus Aurantii 5 qian, Seahorse 1 pair (roasted with butter), Sea Cow 1 (roasted with butter), Gecko 1 pair (roasted with butter), and Belly Button of the Sea Cow 4 liang (roasted with butter).

Processing

Grind the above two ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a wine paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 60–70 pills per dose, on an empty stomach with warm wine or salted broth.
