1 qian of black pepper (ground), 1 qian of roasted ginger, 1 qian of cassia bark, 10 cloves (crushed).

Instructions for Use

Combine the above four ingredients with 3 liang of hearth-center soil. Boil in water until the liquid is perfectly clear, then reduce to about half a teacup’s worth. Administer frequently. If vomiting gradually subsides after 1–2 doses, this confirms the efficacy of the formula. Follow with the Modified Lizhong Rehmannia Decoction.
