1 pig’s stomach, 1 qian of Sichuan fritillary bulb, 2 liang of white honey, 4 liang of ginger, 4 qian of Guang sand, and 8 liang of Yuan wine.

Instructions for Use

First, grind Guang sandalwood and Sichuan fritillary bulb into a very fine powder. Wash the pork stomach thoroughly. Slice the ginger and place it inside the stomach along with the rice wine, honey, Sichuan fritillary bulb, and Guang sandalwood. Tie the opening securely with a string. Then, mix vinegar with water in a sandpot and simmer the stomach, adding more vinegar-water mixture as needed until the stomach is tender. Do not add salt or soy sauce. Consume the entire stomach in one sitting, or in 2–3 portions.
