Drug Formulation

2 liang of Wood Fragrance, 2 liang of Cloves, 2 liang of Sandalwood, 2 liang of Agarwood, 2 liang of Ginseng, 1 liang of Licorice, half a liang of Areca Nut, 2 liang of White Poria (peeled) (one formula includes half a liang of Agastache).

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients, then simmer them in 2 sheng of good-quality water until the liquid is completely reduced; alternatively, placing them in a silver vessel over a double boiler to dry them thoroughly is even more effective. First, select the soft and tender parts, cut them, and bake them until half-dry; then combine them with the dry parts and bake until completely dry. Pound and sift into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Do not add salt; take with a sip of tea.
