Drug Formulation

2 liang of Chinese aralia seeds (shelled), 1 liang of lotus seeds (with hearts removed), 1 liang of goji berries, 1 liang of white dragon bone, 1 liang of Sichuan morinda root (with heart removed), 1 liang of broken paperbark (roasted),Genuine Amber (ground separately) 1 liang, Kuchu Fruit (shelled) 1 liang, White Alum (calcined) 1 liang, Red Poria (peeled) 1 liang, White Poria (peeled) 1 liang, Lotus Stamen (steamed with salt) 1 liang, Euryale Seed 1 liang, White Oyster Shell (calcined) 1 liang, Venus Clam 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Steam Cistanche deserticola (Rou Cong Rong) with wine until soft, then grind it thoroughly to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed. Grind cinnabar (Zhu Sha) to a fine powder weighing 1 liang and a half, and use it as a coating.
