Drug Formulation

Fragrant Rhinoceros Horn 6 fen (ground and sifted; if added to the decoction, use 1 qian, wrapped in cotton and added first), Light Seaweed 3 qian, Fresh Rehmannia Root 5 qian, Western Qin Jiao 1 qian 5 fen, Red Peony Root 2 qian (wine-fried),tender Uncaria vine 3 qian (added later), Beijing Scrophularia 4 qian, aged sea jelly 1 liang (lightly soaked), purified honeysuckle 3 qian, human nasal yellow 3 qian (calcined until brittle), Sichuan fritillary bulb 3 qian (core removed), and fly talc 4 qian.

Instructions for Use

Use 3 liang of fresh pear juice, divided into portions to serve as a vehicle. For mild cases, take one dose daily; for severe cases, take two doses daily. As the toxic pathogen gradually subsides, switch to the Kun Formula.
