Drug Formulation

3 liang of fried Astragalus, 3 liang of raw Rehmannia, 3 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 3 liang of Salvia miltiorrhiza, 1 liang 5 qian of Angelica sinensis, 1 liang 5 qian of aged donkey-hide gelatin, 1 liang 5 qian of Poria cocos (with spirit), 1 liang 5 qian of Poria cocos (cloud-shaped), 1 liang 5 qian of white peony root, 8 qian of Polygala tenuifolia, 1 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, and 5 qian of fried licorice.

Processing

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder; boil 10 liang of Eucommia bark into a paste; mix with refined honey to form pills.

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose, washed down with light wine. For severe cases, take 3 qian in the morning with ginger soup, and 2 qian in the evening with light wine.
