Drug Formulation

Ba Ji 1 liang (ground separately into a powder, with the core removed), imported anise 2 liang (roasted), Sichuan melia fruit 2 liang (roasted with flour),2 liang of Ma Lin (stir-fried with vinegar until purple), 1 liang of Achyranthes root (soaked in wine for 3 days, stems removed, and oven-dried), 1 liang of black Aconite root (roasted, skin and pith removed), 2 liang of Cistanche (soil removed, soaked in wine for 3 days, and oven-dried), 1 liang of Polygonum multiflorum, and 2 liang of Brassica napus seeds (stir-fried).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix the Morinda root powder with 2 sheng of fine wine and a small amount of white bran, then simmer until it forms a paste. Mix this paste thoroughly with the other herbs and shape into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
