Drug Formulation

5 liang of white quartz (high-quality, pounded and ground), 2 liang of续断 (Dipsacus asper), 5 liang of coix seed, 2 liang of 茵芋 (Alisma orientale), 5 liang of 牛膝 (Achyranthes bidentata) (stems removed), 2 liang of 防风 (Saposhnikovia divaricata) (root tips removed), 2 liang of 附子 (Aconite root) (roasted until cracked, skin and pith removed), 3 liang of 石斛 (Dendrobium) (roots removed, chopped), 2 liang of 桂心 (Cinnamon bark),2 liang of Notopterygium, 2 liang of Goji berries, 1 liang of Cornus officinalis, half a jin of raw Rehmannia glutinosa, and 1 liang of Poria cocos.

Processing

Finely chop all ingredients, place them in a raw silk bag, seal with 3 dou of wine, and steep for 14 days.
