Drug Formulation

1 liang of Whitehead, 1 liang of Coptis (stems removed, lightly roasted), 1 liang of Madder root (chopped, dried in an oven), 1 liang of Perilla stem, 1 liang of old drum skin (roasted until yellow and charred), 1 fen of licorice (roasted), half a liang of Sanguisorba (roasted, chopped), and half a liang of rhino horn shavings.
