Drug Formulation

Cinnabar (ground) half liang, talcum powder (ground) half liang, mercury 1 fen, lead 1 fen (these two ingredients are fused into granules), ox bile 2 qian, borneol (ground) 2 qian, lead oxide (ground) 2 qian, talcum powder (ground) 1 fen,Yangqishi (ground) 1 fen, beeswax half liang, croton seeds (plump ones; remove skin and inner membrane; grind to extract oil; use the residue) 120 grains, scorpion tails (roasted) 1 fen, Pinellia tuber 1 qian (washed 7 times in boiling water; pounded and sifted into a fine powder).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; melt the beeswax with a small amount of cooked honey, mix well to form a paste, and roll into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 3–5 pills per dose; if vomiting occurs, take with Agastache Decoction; for hot accumulations, take with ginger and honey water; for cold accumulations, take with Frankincense Decoction; for phlegm due to wind, take with Peppermint Decoction; for diarrhea, take with rice gruel.
