Drug Formulation

Ginseng (stem removed) 2 liang, dried Chinese yam 2 liang, Huai raw rehmannia 2 liang, prepared rehmannia (steamed with wine) 2 liang, asparagus root (core removed) 2 liang, dodder seed (stewed in wine, pounded into cakes, and baked dry) 4 liang,Cornus officinalis (wine-steamed, pitted) 2 liang, Morinda officinalis (wine-soaked, pith removed) 2 liang, Lycium barbarum (sweet) 2 liang, Ophiopogon japonicus (pith removed) 2 liang, Eucommia ulmoides (ginger-fried) 2 liang,Schisandra berries 2 liang, Cistanche (soaked in wine) 2 liang, Achyranthes root (washed in wine, root base removed) 2 liang, Polygala root (soaked in licorice water, core removed) 1 liang, Rubus fruit 2 liang 5 qian, Alisma rhizome 1 liang, Lycium bark 1 liang 5 qian, Old Sichuan pepper 1 liang, Poria cocos (peeled) 2 liang,Acorus tatarinowii 2 liang, Plantain Seed 1 liang 5 qian, Large Aconite Root (wrapped in flour and slow-roasted, peel and navel removed, sliced, soaked in a child’s urine and stir-fried) 1 liang, Wood Fragrance 2 liang, Tiger Tibia (roasted with butter) 2 liang, Cypress Seed Kernel 2 liang.
