Anemarrhena rhizome 3 qian, Fritillaria bulb 3 qian, Asparagus root 3 qian, Ophiopogon tuber 3 qian, Platycodon root 3 qian, Trichosanthes root 2 qian, Coix seed 2 qian, Schisandra berry 2 qian, Licorice root 1 qian, Douleng root 1 qian, Aster root 1 qian, Lily bulb 1 qian, Platycodon root 1 qian, Donkey-hide gelatin 1.5 fen, Angelica root 1.5 fen, Rehmannia root 1.5 fen, Perilla leaf 0.5 fen, Peppermint 0.5 fen.

Processing

Grind each of the above ingredients into a coarse powder according to standard methods.

For chronic cough due to lao syndrome resulting in lung dryness and atrophy; for coughing up blood, vomiting blood, or regurgitating blood.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, take 2 large bowls of water, add 3 slices of fresh ginger, and decoct until reduced to 1 bowl. Strain out the residue, then add 1 spoonful of maltose to the decoction and take it orally. Take 3 bowls after each meal daily.
