Drug Formulation

Asphalt (ground separately) 2 qian, beeswax 2 qian, mercury oxide 2 qian, sulfur (ground separately) 2 qian, castor seeds (husked and ground) 2 qian, sesame oil 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Simmer the oil and wax over alternating high and low heat until the wax melts, then add the prepared powder and stir until it forms a paste. Transfer the paste to a porcelain container for storage.
