Decoction for Tonifying Qi, Raising Yang, and Harmonizing the Middle,Wind-heat sinking downward impedes the flow of yang qi. Closing the eyes causes numbness throughout the body, which lessens during the day and worsens at night. Upon waking and opening the eyes, the numbness gradually subsides and eventually ceases. If the eyes are kept open constantly,this symptom does not occur; however, fear of the numbness prevents the patient from closing their eyes, leading to insomnia. The body feels heavy and drowsy, with occasional phlegm-related coughing. There is a constant sensation of phlegm in the chest that is difficult to expel, accompanied by restlessness, shortness of breath, and wheezing. Upon examination, all six pulses are found to be moderate, combining the characteristics of taut, full, and slow, with a lack of strength upon palpation.
