Drug Formulation

Astragalus (honey-fried) 3–5 qian, Angelica sinensis (tail removed) 2–3 qian, Atractylodes macrocephala 2 qian, Poria cocos 1 qian, Rehmannia glutinosa (prepared) 3 qian, Leonurus japonicus 2 qian, Glycyrrhiza uralensis (roasted) 2 qian, Dried ginger (fried until black through to the core) 3–5 fen, Paeonia lactiflora (baked, wine-fried) 1.5 qian,Schizonepeta spikelets (stir-fried until black) 7 fen.

Instructions for Use

Decoct in water; add a small amount of wine and a child’s urine before taking. Take several doses; qi and blood will readily recover, and in time, the body will become robust and all ailments will be eliminated. If the patient has sufficient strength, adding ginseng is even more effective.
