Ginseng (stem removed) 1 liang, Asparagus root (core removed) 1 liang, Angelica root (washed with wine) 1 liang, Alisma rhizome (hairs removed) 1 liang, Cornus fruit (pits removed) 1 liang,Acorus tatarinowii (roasted) 1 liang, cinnabar 1 liang, Schisandra chinensis (stems removed) 1 liang, Rubus chingii (calyx removed) 1 liang, Poria cocos 1 liang, Plantago seed 1 liang, Aquilaria agallocha 1 liang, Biota seed 1 liang, Dioscorea opposita (roasted with ginger juice) 2 liang, Morinda officinalis (core removed) 2 liang,Sichuan pepper (seeds and stems removed; discard any closed pods; stir-fried until sweating) 2 liang, Sichuan Achyranthes root (root base removed; washed with wine) 2 liang, raw Rehmannia root 2 liang, prepared Rehmannia root 2 liang, Lycium bark (wood and soil removed) 2 liang, Eucommia bark 2 liang, Polygala root (root base removed; soaked in licorice decoction; core removed) 3 liang,Cistanche (washed in wine, with inner membrane removed, sun-dried) 3 liang, Goji berries 3 liang, Dodder seeds (washed in wine, with soil removed, then steamed in wine, pounded into cakes, and sun-dried) 4 liang.
