Drug Formulation

Lotus seed kernels: 1 jin (first soak in wine for 1 day, then place inside a male pig’s stomach, sew it shut, and boil the lotus seed kernels with the soaking wine and added water; use 1 large and 2 small pig stomachs.Remove and sun-dry; discard the stomachs), 1 jin of Maoshan Atractylodes (divide into 4 portions: soak 1 portion in wine, 1 in swill, 1 in salt water, and 1 in vinegar; soak for 5 days in spring and autumn, 3 days in summer, and 7 days in winter), 4 liang of Poria cocos, 1 liang of Agarwood, 1 liang of Wood Fragrance, 1 liang of Prepared Rehmannia, 2 liang of Schisandra, 2 liang of Fennel,2 liang of Sichuan melia fruit (roasted), 2 liang of Western goji berries, 2 liang of Chinese yam, 2 liang of pine nut kernels, 2 liang of Poguozhi (roast with sesame seeds until fragrant, then remove the sesame seeds) (grind all of the above into a fine powder).

Processing

Add half a liang of rock salt to the mixture, grind into a fine powder, and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using wine as the binder.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 70 pills; take on an empty stomach with warm wine or salted broth, and follow with a dry food to settle the stomach.
