Chinese Name : 辰砂秘真丹

Drug Formulation

Half a liang of cinnabar (finely ground, washed with water), 1 liang of Daizhashi (calcined, quenched in vinegar 7 times, ground separately), 1 liang of Silla ginseng (root base removed), 1 liang of Poria (wooden core removed), half a liang of red ochre (calcined, ground separately), and half a liang of lotus seed hearts.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills the size of a tung tree seed using glutinous rice wrappers.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills per dose, washed down with decocted ginseng broth, on an empty stomach as a regular regimen.
