Processing

Take 1 large papaya, cut off the top to form a lid, remove the seeds and pulp, fill the cavity with ground Sichuan pepper, replace the lid, and seal the seam with paper. Steam over rice until thoroughly soft, remove the outer skin, then grind the mixture—including the papaya—into a paste-like consistency. Form into pills the size of a paulownia seed and dry in an oven.

Instructions for Use

Take 30–50 pills per dose, increasing to 70–80 pills, on an empty stomach with warm wine, three times daily.
