Drug Formulation

10 liang and 5 qian of Sichuan fritillary bulb, 24 liang of loquat leaves, 2 liang of platycodon root, 240 liang of white sugar, 1 qian 7 fen 5 li of citric acid, 5 fen 5 li of menthol, 8 qian 8 fen of benzoic acid, 6 fen of parabens, 17.5 ml of almond flavoring, and 12.5 ml of bayberry flavoring.

Processing

Grind Fritillaria thunbergii into No. 4 coarse powder. Extract the coarse powder using seven times its volume of 70% ethanol via the percolation method, then concentrate to 400 milliliters. Extract loquat leaves and Platycodon grandiflorus twice using the decoction method, combine the extracts, and concentrate to approximately 1 liter. Add refined sugar and stir until evenly mixed. Adjust the total volume to 11 liters with distilled water,fill into glass bottles, 100 ml per bottle.

Instructions for Use

Take 10 mL (approximately 1 tablespoon) three times daily. Take with warm water; reduce the dose appropriately for children.
