Drug Formulation

Cistanche (soaked in wine overnight, sliced, and roasted) 1 liang,Achyranthes Root (soaked in wine overnight, sliced, and roasted) 1 liang, Psoralea Seed (soaked in wine overnight, stir-fried) 1 liang, Morinda Root (with core removed) 1 liang, Notopterygium Root (with root tip removed) 1 liang, Aconite Root (roasted until cracked, with skin and navel removed) 1 liang, Sichuan Pepper (with seeds and closed ends removed, stir-fried until sweating) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take one wild boar kidney, remove the tendons and membranes, finely chop it, and grind it into a paste. Mix with the wine used to soak Achyranthes and wheat flour to form a paste, then roll into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
