Chuanxiong 1 liang, Danggui 1 liang, Zhike (white pith removed, stir-fried with wheat bran) 1 liang, Houpo (white pith removed, roasted with ginger juice) 1 liang, Guangui (bark removed) 1 liang, Dried Ginger (roasted) 1 liang, Shaoyao 1 liang, Muxiang 1 liang, Qingjupi (white pith removed) 1 liang, Shenqu (stir-fried) 1 liang, Maiye (stir-fried) 1 liang,1 liang of Ginseng, 1 liang of Curcuma zedoaria (soaked in vinegar overnight, then baked), 1 liang of Imported Fennel (roasted), 1 liang of Acorus tatarinowii (roasted), 1 liang of Melia azedarach seeds, 1 liang of Poria (peeled), 1 liang of Dried Rehmannia, half a liang of Rhubarb, half a liang of Chebulic Myrobalan (pitted; use these two ingredients as appropriate).

Instructions for Use
For each patient, take 3 ping of the formula as a regular dose; for an acute episode, use only 2 qian. Take 2 cun of white scallion, split lengthwise down the middle, and simmer with 1 zhan of clear water until reduced to 7 fen. Then add half a qian of salt, mix well with the residue, and drink while hot.As for the ingredients chebulic myrobalan and rhubarb in this formula, they may or may not be included, depending on the specific symptoms of the illness; if appropriate, include them; if not, omit them. Generally, these two ingredients are rarely used together in their entirety. If rhubarb is included, there is no need to add salt when taking the decoction.
