Drug Formulation

1 liang of Clove, 1 liang of Poria, 1 liang of Ginseng, 1 liang of Bu Hui Mu, 1 liang of Pinellia (ground into powder, mixed with ginger juice to form cakes, then dried),Half a liang of Yangqishi, half a liang of Longshi, half a fen of Asafoetida (dissolved in vinegar, mixed with flour into cakes), 5 apricot kernels (peeled, roasted over a candle flame to remove the skin, then ground), 5 croton seeds (peeled, inner membrane removed, oil rendered on a tile, then stir-fried).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, soak in steamed white buns, strain, squeeze dry, and form into pills the size of a chicken’s head.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 pills per dose, add 3 slices of ginger and 7 fen of water, decoct until reduced to 4 fen, and take while warm, regardless of the time of day. Reduce the dose for children.
