Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. First, take 12 liang of sesame oil,4 liang of purified pork lard into a sandpot. Add 2 liang of clean human hair and the whites of 5–6 eggs, and simmer together. When the oil reaches the point where a drop forms a bead upon contact with water, add 2 liang of white beeswax and 2 liang of yellow beeswax and melt them completely. Then add 2 liang of orpiment (soaked in boiling water and thoroughly purified) and 2 liang of lead powder. Stir vigorously with a locust twig until a paste forms. Remove from heat, mix in the previously prepared fine powder, and blend thoroughly.

Benefits

Wounds from beatings.

Instructions for Use

For those who have been caned, first wash the affected area thoroughly with a decoction made from Chinese chives, onion bulbs, and pork. Then apply the ointment to the affected area, cover it with oil paper, wrap it securely with cotton, and then wrap it again with cloth to prevent air from escaping. Change the dressing once every day and night. If the beating has caused the bone to protrude, apply the fine medicinal powder to the affected area.

Note

Avoid sexual activity and all foods that may aggravate the condition.
