For anxiety, anger, joy, or rage; or for qi stagnation due to overwork and fatigue; for masses above the diaphragm; for alternating chills and fever; for poor appetite and failure to gain muscle mass; for women with chronic cold where wind has entered the reproductive tract; for those who engage in sexual intercourse while menstruation has not yet ceased; or for those who engage in sexual intercourse while urgently needing to urinate—all of which may lead to miscarriage, lower abdominal pain, pain during sexual intercourse, and pain radiating to the chest.

Swallow with saliva. Do not use water. The body will feel numb; do not eat until the medicinal effects have fully subsided. If the condition is localized in the flanks, swallowing one pill will resolve it immediately; if there is anxiety or restlessness, take one pill three times daily, and sleep alone without fear. For severe cases, take 6–7 pills during the day and 3 at night; for mild cases, take 4–5 during the day and 2 at night. Cold pathogens are expelled along with loose stools, which may cause frequent flatulence.
