Drug Formulation

3 jin of genuine fragrant sesame oil, 5 jin of cypress twig tips, 5 jin of pine needle tips, half a jin of raw Aconite root (sliced), half a jin of Cinnamon bark (ground into a very fine powder), 10 liang of orpiment, and 10 liang of lead powder.

Processing

First, heat the sesame oil in a pot until boiling; add the cypress twigs, pine needles, and aconite root, and simmer them in the oil one after another until charred. Strain out the residue, add the ground cinnamon, and simmer again. Add the yellow丹 and lead powder, stirring constantly until the mixture forms beads when a drop of water is added. Transfer to a earthenware container, immerse it in water to remove the heat toxicity, and apply by spreading it on a cloth.

Instructions for Use

For those with abdominal aversion to cold, apply the plaster to the navel using a large piece of cloth that covers the navel, and also apply it to the Shenshu acupoint on the back; for all other cases of numbness and aching in the tendons and bones, apply the plaster directly to the affected area.
