Licorice, Dried Ginger, Poria, and Atractylodes Decoction,Kidney-Zhuo syndrome: Cold and dampness invading from below, causing heaviness of the body; coldness, heaviness, and pain from the waist down; appetite remains normal; no thirst; and free urination. Also indicated for uterine bi syndrome with difficult urination and clear nasal discharge; vomiting and diarrhea; edema of the lower limbs during pregnancy; urinary incontinence in the elderly; enuresis in both men and women; and chronic lower back coldness with leukorrhea in women—all conditions attributed to deficiency of spleen yang with cold and dampness.

2 liang of licorice, 2 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 4 liang of dried ginger, 4 liang of Poria.

Benefits

Instructions for Use

Boil with 5 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng; divide into 3 doses and take while warm. The lower back will immediately feel warm.

Note

Avoid seaweed, Chinese cabbage, peaches and plums, sparrow meat, and vinegar-based foods.
