Drug Formulation

1 liang of sea-tung bark (chopped), 1 liang of acanthopanax bark (chopped), 1 liang of angelica pubescens (root tip removed), 1 liang of saposhnikovia root (branches removed), 1 liang of dried scorpion (roasted), 1 liang of eucommia bark (coarse outer bark removed, sliced), 1 liang of achyranthes root (stems removed, soaked in wine, sliced, and baked),1 liang of Coix Seed (roasted), 3 liang of raw Rehmannia Root (baked).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder, place them in a raw silk bag, and steep in 1 dou 5 sheng of fine wine in a sealed porcelain jar. Leave to steep for 3 days in summer and autumn, and 7 days in spring and winter, then open and retrieve the decoction.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 he per dose, gradually increasing to 4–5 he. Take the warm wine before meals, regardless of the time of day. In severe cases, maintain a continuous intake of the wine.
