Drug Formulation

500g fresh colophony, 105g silver vermilion, 300g castor bean pulp, 36g roasted frankincense, 36g roasted myrrh, 2.4g musk.

Processing

First, pound the castor bean pulp until it is pulverized; then add the rosin, frankincense, myrrh, and silver vermilion and pound the mixture over a thousand times. Finally, add the musk (finely ground) and pound until evenly blended into a hard ointment, then store it in a clay jar.

Instructions for Use

To use, melt the ointment over a water bath, spread it on thick paper, and apply it to the affected area.
