Drug Formulation

Magnolia Bark (coarse outer bark removed, processed with ginger) 3 liang; Fructus Aurantii (fried with wheat bran, pith removed) 1 liang 2 qian; Dried Ginger (cracked by fire) 1 liang 2 qian; Galangal (chopped) 1 liang 2 qian; Green Tangerine Peel (white pith removed) 8 qian; Dried Tangerine Peel (white pith removed) 8 qian; Wulingzhi 8 qian; Dried Scorpion 8 qian; Cinnamon Bark (peeled) 8 qian,Musk Nut 4 pieces, Cardamom 4 pieces, Sichuan Aconite (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed) 4 pieces, Large Aconite Root (roasted, with skin and pith removed) 3 pieces, Areca Nut 3 pieces, Amomum villosum 4 qian, Amomum villosum seed 4 qian, Sichuan Pepper (seeds removed, sweated) 4 qian,black pepper 4 qian, cloves 4 qian, frankincense 4 qian, evodia fruit (washed 7 times in boiling water, dried in an oven, and stir-fried) 4 qian, akebia stem (chopped) 3 qian.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a wheat-flour paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 30–40 pills per dose, washed down with a decoction of ginger and tangerine peel taken before meals.
