Drug Formulation

Astragalus root 1 qian (honey-fried), Ginseng (stem removed) 1 qian, Amomum villosum (peeled) 2 qian, Poria cocos (core and membrane removed) 2.5 qian, Amomum villosum (shell removed) 6 qian, Curcuma zedoaria (roasted and steamed) 3 qian,Chinese yam (stir-fried with ginger juice) 2.5 qian, Polygala (soaked in licorice water, core removed) 1.5 qian, Platycodon 1 qian, Cyperus 1 liang (boiled in honey water), Atractylodes 8.5 qian, Bovine Bile 1 fen, Musk 3 li, Gold Foil 10 pieces, Talc 6 liang (decocted with 5 liang of Moutan bark; remove the liquid and residue, then boil until dry.Blue talc is preferable; if unavailable, use white talc), cinnabar 1 liang (boil with 1 liang of licorice root in water for half a day; discard the licorice root), licorice root 1 liang (half-raw, half-roasted), wood fragrant 1 qian, white Poria (peeled) 2.5 qian.
