Drug Formulation

1 sheng of plum root bark, 1 liang of Akebia stem, 1 liang of white Polygonum, 1 liang of Platycodon root, 1 liang of Magnolia bark, 1 liang of Scutellaria root, 1 liang of Aconite root, 2 liang of licorice root, 2 liang of Angelica root, 3 liang of Pueraria root, 5 liang of Pinellia tuber, 4 liang of Cinnamon bark, 4 liang of Peony root, 6 liang of Cnidium fruit, and 5 liang of Trichosanthes root.

Grind the above herbs into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take one fangcun bi per dose, washed down with wine, three times daily. For severe cases causing great distress, take an additional dose at night.

Note

Avoid mutton, malt syrup, seaweed, Chinese cabbage, pork, cold water, and raw green onions.
