Drug Formulation

3 qian of ox bile, 2 liang 5 qian of Codonopsis, 1 liang of Pinellia (stir-fried with ginger juice), 1 liang of Gastrodia, 1 liang of deer antler (roasted with butter), 3 qian of mint, 1 liang of Poria cocos, 1 liang of Polygala (soaked in licorice water, core removed), 1 liang of Acorus, 1 liang of jujube seeds (stir-fried), 1 liang of papaya,1 liang of coix seed (roasted), 1 liang of notopterygium (washed with wine), 1 liang of angelica pubescens (washed with wine), 1 liang of saposhnikovia (washed with wine),1 liang 5 qian of tangerine peel, 1 liang 5 qian of astragalus (stir-fried in salt water), 1 liang 5 qian of angelica root (washed with wine), 1 liang 5 qian of dried goji berries, 1 liang 5 qian of turtle shell (fried in ghee), 1 liang 5 qian of Polygonum multiflorum (stir-fried with salt and wine),Atractylodes macrocephala 2 liang (core removed, stir-fried with earth), Paeonia lactiflora 2 liang (stir-fried with salt and wine), Rehmannia glutinosa (raw) 2 liang (washed with wine), Rehmannia glutinosa (processed) 2 liang, Tiger leg bone 2 liang (fried with ghee),Achyranthes root 2 liang (washed with wine), Eucommia bark 2 liang (stir-fried with ginger and wine), Phellodendron bark 2 liang (mixed with human milk, then stir-fried with salt and wine), Anemarrhena rhizome 2 liang (mixed with human milk, then stir-fried with salt and wine), Ophiopogon tuber 2 liang (core removed), Agarwood 5 qian, Schisandra berries 5 qian.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with refined honey and pig spinal cord to form pills weighing 1 qian 5 fen each; coat with gold leaf and seal with wax paper.
