3 qian of safflower, 3 qian of peach kernels, 3 qian of fresh ginger, 7 red dates, 1 fen of musk, and 3 scallion whites.

Instructions for Use

Place half a jin of yellow wine in a sand pot and simmer over low heat for the duration of one incense stick; take while warm. After the first dose, sweating will occur in the upper jiao; after the second dose, in the middle jiao; and after the third dose, in the lower jiao—at which point the patient will be cured. If no sweating occurs after all three doses, the disease is incurable.
